Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Resort Operations Manager to lead day-to-day resort operations near Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will manage accommodation, guest activities, groundskeeping, and maintenance while driving guest satisfaction and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Resort Operations Manager, Hotel Manager, or similar senior role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and operations.
• Experience in budget management and financial control.
• In-depth knowledge of hospitality operations, guest services, and facility management.
• A passion for eco-tourism and sustainable practices is essential.
• Proficiency in resort management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the resort, including accommodation, activities, and guest services.
• Manage and motivate a team of resort staff across various departments.

• Develop and manage operational budgets, controlling costs and maximizing revenue.
