Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Resort Operations Manager for a premier beachfront resort in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee day-to-day operations across accommodation, food and beverage, guest services, and recreation, driving exceptional guest experiences and strict service standards.

Lead a multi‑department team, manage budgets, control costs, develop policies, recruit and mentor managers, ensure health and safety compliance, and collaborate with marketing to drive bookings

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hotel/resort management, with at least 2 years in an operations supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple departments effectively.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and cost control experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in resort management software and standard office applications.
• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and relocate to Durban if needed.
