Placements24 is seeking a Resort Operations Manager for a hybrid role in George, Western Cape. The candidate will oversee all resort departments, drive guest satisfaction, manage budgets, and lead a diverse team to deliver exceptional vacation experiences.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in resort/hotel operations, proven leadership, and excellent communication. The role balances on-site supervision with some remote tasks, in a premier leisure and hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 7 years in resort/hotel operations with 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and P&L management.
• Experience balancing remote tasks with on-site supervision and leading diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all resort departments to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize profitability.
• Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of resort staff.
• Ensure the resort property is well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Oversee F&B operations, recreational activities, and guest services to ensure quality and consistency.
• Implement and enforce resort policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement for resort supplies and services.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales on promotions and packages.
