Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Guest Experience Coordinator for our premier George, Western Cape resort. You will be the first point of contact for guest inquiries, arrange amenities, and coordinate with departments to ensure a seamless stay.

The role requires hospitality passion, English fluency, strong communication, and the ability to handle busy periods with calm, while working both independently and within a dynamic team. Weekend and public holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills; other local languages are advantageous.
• Proficiency with property management systems and standard office software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first and last impression.
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill guest requests for amenities and information.
• Handle guest complaints professionally, working toward satisfactory resolutions.
• Maintain guest records and update reservation details in the PMS.
• Provide information about resort facilities and local attractions.
• Assist with pre-arrival arrangements and special occasion requests.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify areas for service improvement.
• Contribute to a positive, professional work environment.
