Placements24 is seeking a vibrant Youth Development Coordinator to lead programs for young people in Stellenbosch and the Western Cape. The role focuses on mentorship, skill-building workshops, and access to educational opportunities with a remote-friendly setup.

You will design, implement, and evaluate initiatives that empower youth and collaborate with schools and community partners. Strong communication and virtual engagement skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development or related field.
• 3+ years of youth work, community development, or program coordination experience.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for virtual engagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.

Aufgaben

• Design, coordinate, and deliver youth development programs and activities.
• Engage with diverse youth, building rapport and understanding needs and aspirations.
• Collaborate with schools and community centers in Stellenbosch to recruit participants.
• Develop and manage program budgets and resources.
• Monitor progress and evaluate outcomes, collecting data and preparing impact reports.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers or mentors in youth programs.
• Stay informed about best practices in youth development and education.
• Promote programs to maximize reach within the Western Cape.
• Provide guidance to participants and maintain organized records of activities and outcomes.
