Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Youth Outreach Coordinator to drive remote youth engagement programs in the Western Cape. You will design, implement and evaluate online outreach initiatives, mentor young people, and connect them with educational and developmental opportunities across the region.

The role requires strong digital communication, the ability to manage multiple virtual projects, and collaboration with community leaders, schools, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth work, community engagement, or program coordination, preferably in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with and motivate young people through virtual platforms.
• Strong understanding of challenges and opportunities facing youth in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute remote-based outreach strategies to engage diverse youth populations.
• Organize and facilitate virtual workshops, mentorship sessions, and skills development programs for young people.
• Build and maintain relationships with youth, community leaders, and educational institutions through digital channels.
• Create engaging online content, including social media posts and informational materials, to promote youth services.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of outreach programs, gathering feedback to inform future initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to young individuals, connecting them with appropriate resources and opportunities within the Cape Town area.
