Placements24 is seeking a highly proficient VoIP Specialist to join their fully remote technical team. You will design, implement, and support enterprise-level VoIP systems, ensuring stability, security, and performance across the network.

Requirements include 5+ years' hands-on VoIP experience, familiarity with SIP/H.323/RTP, and platforms like Cisco, Avaya, and Asterisk. Strong networking knowledge and excellent communication are essential for success in this remote role.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years hands-on VoIP experience.
Deep knowledge of SIP, H.323 and RTP protocols.
Experience with Cisco, Avaya and Asterisk platforms.
Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex VoIP issues and perform root cause analysis.
Excellent communication skills for non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise VoIP systems including PBX, call managers, and gateways.
Monitor VoIP performance and resolve quality issues (jitter, latency, packet loss).
Configure and maintain user accounts, extensions, and routing rules.
Implement security measures to protect the VoIP infrastructure.
Provide advanced technical support for VoIP incidents and user queries.
Stay updated on VoIP tech and recommend system enhancements.
