Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced VoIP Systems Administrator to join our fully remote technical operations team. You will deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot our VoIP infrastructure to ensure reliable communications for a global user base.

You will work in a distributed environment, monitor performance, resolve call quality and routing issues, implement security, and produce documentation and SOPs. Remote-friendly role with opportunities for certifications in voice technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a VoIP administrator or similar role managing unified communications.
• Strong knowledge of SIP, H.323, and RTP protocols.
• Experience with Cisco Call Manager, Asterisk, or 3CX.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and QoS.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the VoIP infrastructure including PBX systems.
• Monitor performance and ensure high availability and QoS.
• Troubleshoot voice issues and user provisioning remotely.
• Develop and update VoIP documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for integration.
