Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Telecoms Support Specialist to provide first-line technical assistance in a fully remote capacity. You will diagnose and resolve issues related to voice, data, and network connectivity and serve as the initial point of contact for customers.

Working remotely within a distributed team, you will document interactions, escalate when needed, and contribute to knowledge bases. The role rewards strong problem-solving and independent work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in telecoms.
• Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, mobile networks and broadband tech.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with CRM and ticketing systems, clear communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for telecom services via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot VoIP, mobile, broadband, and connectivity issues.
• Escalate complex problems to higher-level teams when needed.
• Document interactions, steps taken, and resolutions accurately.
• Assist with setup and configuration of customer equipment and services.
• Contribute to knowledge base by creating and updating support articles.
