Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Telecoms Support Specialist to join our established team, operating entirely remotely from your home office. You will provide expert technical assistance and support to customers experiencing issues with telecommunications services and equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues related to broadband, VoIP, and home networking, guide users through self-help steps, and escalate unresolved problems with detailed notes in the CRM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a telecoms support or technical customer service role.
• Strong understanding of broadband technologies, VoIP, and home networking equipment.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat regarding telecom services and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to internet connectivity, VoIP, and other telecom services.
• Guide customers through self-help solutions and step-by-step troubleshooting processes.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or relevant departments with detailed case notes.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the CRM system.
• Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and support documentation.
