Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our fully remote operations team. You will diagnose and resolve voice, data, and video network issues, deploy and maintain routers, switches, and PBX systems, and provide expert remote support to users and IT teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of VoIP, MPLS, and fiber optics, along with remote troubleshooting, security, and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician or Network Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve voice, data, and video network issues.
• Monitor network performance and implement connectivity improvements.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and PBX systems.
• Provide remote support to end-users and IT teams for telecom queries.
• Develop and maintain network configuration documentation.
