Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Telecommunications Technician for a fully remote role. You will provide expert technical support, configure and troubleshoot telecommunications systems, and ensure reliable network performance.

This position emphasizes remote work with collaboration across internal teams. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VoIP, SIP, and hands-on experience with PBX, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Telecommunications Technician or similar role.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, VoIP, SIP protocols.
Experience with PBX systems, routers, switches and firewalls.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network problems.
Proficient in remote support tools and methods.
Strong communication skills for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for voice and data systems.
Configure, install, and maintain network hardware and software.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
Monitor network performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex issues.
