Placements24 seeks a Telecom Network Operations Specialist to join our team remotely. You will monitor, maintain, and optimise a large telecommunications network, ensuring uptime, performance, and security while delivering seamless service.

The role requires at least 4 years in network operations within telecom, strong TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF expertise, and experience with SolarWinds or PRTG. Ideal candidates bring scripting skills (Python/Bash) and excellent remote collaboration and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering.
• 4+ years in network operations in telecom.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Python or Bash scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and infrastructure health.
• Respond to alerts and incidents with diagnostics.
• Manage routers, switches, and firewalls configurations.
• Implement network changes per change management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and support to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and documentation.
