Placements24 is seeking a Remote Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive end-to-end recruitment for engineering, product, and design roles across South Africa’s startup ecosystem. The role emphasizes remote collaboration, proactive sourcing, and delivering strong talent pipelines for fast-paced ventures.

You will manage multiple requisitions, partner with hiring managers, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience while staying ahead of industry trends and maintaining diverse recruiting

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-cycle technical recruitment for startups or tech companies.
• Ability to source for diverse roles including software engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers.
• Strong understanding of tech stacks and development methodologies.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment CRMs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with remote collaboration proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for multiple technical roles in fast-paced startups.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract top engineering, product, and design talent.
• Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and community forums for candidate pipelines.
• Screen candidates for technical skills, culture-fit, and motivation.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide market insights.
• Ensure a superb candidate experience throughout the process.
• Track metrics and report on pipeline health and progress.
• Stay updated on trends in tech recruitment and startup ecosystems.
• Champion diversity and inclusion across recruitment efforts.
