Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Project Manager - Software Development to lead agile software initiatives from anywhere. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate distributed teams, and ensure alignment with product owners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.

The role emphasizes strong communication, Scrum/Agile practices, SDLC expertise, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Zoom.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager focused on software development.
Proven experience managing projects using Agile and Scrum in a remote setting.
Strong understanding of SDLC and latest software technologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects from initiation to deployment.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) for remote teams.
Coordinate with engineering, product managers and designers to define requirements and deliverables.
Monitor progress, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain clear communication among stakeholders through remote channels and documentation.
