Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact software development projects in a fully remote capacity. You will guide development teams through the entire software lifecycle, define roadmaps, manage resources, and mitigate technical risks while delivering innovative software solutions.

You will mentor junior managers and collaborate with product owners and engineering leads to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management with focus on software development.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience managing distributed or remote development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects from concept to launch.
• Define project scope, requirements, and success criteria with product owners and engineers.
• Manage agile processes: sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups.
• Facilitate communication among distributed teams, stakeholders, and management.
• Identify, assess, and manage technical risks; ensure timely risk mitigation.
• Mentor junior PMs and team members to foster improvement and high performance.
