Job summary

Placements24 is looking for a proactive Remote Agile Project Manager to guide software development teams through the Agile lifecycle from home. You will ensure efficient delivery and foster a collaborative, fully remote work environment by applying Scrum and Kanban practices.

The role requires strong communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills, with hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence. You will partner with product owners and stakeholders to remove impediments and deliver

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master in software development.
Proven ability to manage projects and teams effectively in a fully remote setting using virtual tools.
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for distributed teams.
Manage and groom the product backlog in close collaboration with product owners and development teams.
Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth sprint execution.
Track project progress, velocity, and key Agile metrics, reporting transparently to stakeholders.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality software increments according to sprint goals.
