Placements24 is seeking a Remote Lead Project Manager to guide software development projects from initiation to launch. This role requires strong leadership to manage distributed teams, mentor junior project managers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate has deep Agile knowledge, hands-on experience leading remote teams, and a passion for building exceptional products, driving innovation from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in software development.
• Proven experience leading and managing remote development teams.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban and other PPM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple software development projects from conception to completion.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budget management and risk assessment.
• Mentor and guide a team of project managers and cross-functional development teams remotely.
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive effective communication among dispersed team members and stakeholders.
• Champion best practices in software development project management and continuous improvement.
