Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Remote Project Manager specializing in software development to lead distributed teams from a home office, guiding projects through requirements, design, coding, testing, and deployment in an agile, remote-first culture.

You will drive project plans, coordinate with product owners and stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions while maintaining clear communication across time zones.

Qualifications

6+ years of project management focusing on software development.
Experience with Scrum or Kanban.
Strong SDLC knowledge and modern development practices.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng/Business.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile methodologies.
Define project scope, objectives, user stories, and success criteria with product owners and stakeholders.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations for software teams.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for development teams.
Identify and mitigate project risks, impediments, and dependencies to ensure smooth project flow.
Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders via virtual channels.
