Placements24 seeks a compassionate Remote Social Support Navigator to assist individuals and families virtually, guiding them through social service systems and helping access benefits from anywhere. This remote role serves the Northern Cape and beyond, acting as a key contact for information, advocacy, and emotional support.

You will conduct remote needs assessments, coordinate referrals, and maintain confidential records while using secure online platforms.

Qualifications

• A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, case management, or community support.
• Proven ability to provide support and navigate services remotely or via telephone.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and electronic record-keeping systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively from a remote location.
