Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Social Support Specialist to assist individuals and families from home. The role focuses on connecting clients with resources, guiding them through services, and advocating for their needs within the social service system.

The position requires strong virtual communication, organizational skills, and experience in social work or case management, with a focus on the Free State region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s level degree in social services or related field.
• Proven experience in social work, case management, or client support.
• Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools and remote work technologies.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseloads independently.
• Understanding of social welfare systems and community resources, particularly within the Free State.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote client support via phone, email, and video conferencing platforms.
• Assess client needs and assist them in accessing appropriate social services and resources.
• Guide clients through navigating administrative processes and applications.
• Maintain confidential and accurate digital client records.
• Collaborate with remote team members and external service providers to ensure comprehensive support.
• Advocate remotely for clients to ensure their rights and needs are addressed effectively.
