Placements24 seeks a proactive Remote Social Support Specialist to guide individuals and families from a home office across South Africa. You will provide support, information, and referrals via phone, email, and chat, building rapport remotely and maintaining confidentiality.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, community resource navigation, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure coordinated service delivery in the Community & Social Care sector.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in social work, psychology, or counseling.
• Experience in social support, counseling, or case management.
• Ability to communicate empathetically via remote channels.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support and information services via digital platforms.
• Assess client needs and connect to community resources.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of social services.
• Document client interactions and outcomes in the CRM accurately.
