Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vibrant and engaging Remote Social Media Community Manager to foster and grow online communities for a dynamic e-commerce brand. This fully remote role involves building brand advocacy, initiating conversations, and managing feedback to enhance loyalty.

You will monitor channels, respond empathetically, engage with advocates, and track engagement metrics while staying current with social media trends. This position offers flexibility and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media management or community management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and nurture online communities.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their community dynamics.
• Experience with social listening/management tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage our client's online community across various social media platforms.
• Monitor social media channels daily, respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, empathetic, and brand-appropriate manner.
• Initiate and participate in relevant conversations to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Identify and engage with brand advocates, influencers, and key community members.
• Escalate customer service issues to the appropriate teams and ensure resolution.
• Gather community feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
• Create and schedule engaging content tailored for community interaction (polls, Q&As, contests).
• Track and report on community engagement metrics, sentiment, and growth trends.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform changes, and best practices in community management.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive online environment for all members.
