Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic Remote E-commerce Social Media & Community Engagement Lead to craft and execute a vibrant social media strategy that drives engagement and supports online sales.

You will manage channels, create platform-tailored content, engage with the online community, and build relationships with influencers and advocates while staying ahead of social media trends. This is a fully remote role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Social Media Manager or Community Manager.
• Ability to craft engaging social content and build online communities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with consistent brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with e-commerce goals.
• Manage all social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest) from content planning to publishing.
• Create engaging content (text, images, video, stories) tailored to each platform.
• Actively respond to comments and messages in a timely, empathetic manner.
• Foster a positive community, encourage user-generated content and discussions.
• Identify influencers and brand advocates; build relationships.
• Monitor conversations, track sentiment, identify engagement opportunities and resolve issues.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing and customer support for cohesive messaging.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices to boost engagement.
