Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Remote Project Manager to lead complex SaaS product initiatives for distributed teams. This fully remote role centers on delivering software solutions that align with customer needs, roadmaps, and business goals.

You will drive strategy, manage budgets and timelines, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and stakeholders in a virtual setting, applying Agile/Scrum practices and strong leadership to ensure successful releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a strong focus on SaaS or software development projects.
• Proven experience managing projects entirely in a remote or distributed team setting.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and best practices for software development.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, tailored for virtual interactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major SaaS product development projects remotely.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful outcomes for complex software initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and other cross-functional teams in a virtual environment.
• Implement and refine Agile/Scrum methodologies for optimal team performance and delivery cadence.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies affecting software releases.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders effectively through virtual channels.
