About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join their dynamic team. As a Senior HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support our client's business objectives and foster a positive employee experience. You will play a key role in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and labor laws.
• Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and offering employment.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
• Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisals.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters, including employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant South African labor legislation and regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement strategies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Proven experience in managing all facets of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and its practical application.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving HR issues.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in a remote-first environment is highly advantageous.
