Placements24 is seeking a Senior Management Accountant for a fully remote role, ideally based near Sandton. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic FP&A activities, delivering executive-ready insights and robust financial models to influence key business decisions.

This senior position requires 8+ years in management accounting, strong ERP/Power BI proficiency, and exceptional communication to engage stakeholders remotely.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CMA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in management accounting, FP&A.
• Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance measurement.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to analyze profitability and trends.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for executives.
• Provide strategic financial guidance on new business initiatives and investments.
• Oversee cost management initiatives and drive operational efficiencies.
• Mentor and guide junior finance and analytics team members.
