Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Financial Analyst to join a globally distributed finance team, supporting operations based out of Polokwane.

This fully remote role focuses on financial planning, analysis, and reporting, delivering key insights to guide business strategy in a virtual setting.You will lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans; build and maintain financial models; and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
• Minimum 6 years FP&A experience.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability modeling.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Identify key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities with actionable recommendations.
