Job summary

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into robust electrical designs, focusing on HV design, power conversion, and grid interconnection. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems or Power Electronics.
• 10+ years in electrical design with 3–5 years in lead or supervisory roles.
• Experience with utility-scale power systems, BESS, and grid interconnection.
• Strong knowledge of power system analysis, protection, and control.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for utility-scale battery energy storage projects.
• Define system architectures including power flow, protection, grounding, and interconnection strategies.
• Oversee high-voltage power conversion systems, AC/DC distribution, and control interfaces.
• Mentor and manage a team of electrical engineers.
• Ensure designs meet IEEE/IEC standards, codes, and customer specs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project management teams.
• Conduct design reviews and risk assessments; resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Develop BOM and procurement specifications for electrical equipment.
• Stay abreast of power electronics, grid integration, and energy storage tech.
• Contribute to design tools, standards, and best practices.
