Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Power Systems Engineer to join a distributed, high-performing team. This role focuses on strategic planning, design, and optimization of robust power systems for critical infrastructure and large-scale energy projects in a fully remote capacity.
You will guide technical direction, manage complex analyses, and collaborate with international stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables while mentoring a global team of engineers.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems.
- 10+ years in power systems engineering, including design, analysis and project management.
- Experience leading teams and multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong understanding of grid interconnection and renewable integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design and detailed engineering of complex power systems.
- Perform load flow, transient stability, fault analysis, protection coordination.
- Develop technical specs for power system equipment and infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership to a global team of power engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with international codes and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to define requirements.
