Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors, research target accounts and book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives. You will own the top of the funnel with thoughtful outbound outreach and a focus on quality over volume.

Work remotely within South Africa, leveraging LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-touch, personalized communication.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
