Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to open doors across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and book discovery calls to build a healthy top-of-funnel for our sales team.

You'll work remotely, using outbound tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo, and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach and maintain an accurate pipeline. Prior SaaS or agency experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
