Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC in South Africa is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel—research accounts, identify decision makers, and book discovery calls.

You will craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone using tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce, while maintaining clean Salesforce records and collaborating with Account Executives.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outreach sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
