Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, building contact lists, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach, maintain pipeline, and create a strong first impression of Blacksmith with potential clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
