Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and book qualified discovery calls while maintaining CRM hygiene.

The role emphasizes thoughtful outreach using tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to achieve high-quality engagement and volume goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
