Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel—research accounts, identify decision makers, and book qualified meetings with potential clients.

You’ll use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to execute thoughtful outreach, keep CRM records clean, and collaborate with Account Executives to convert interest into opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
