Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to join their remote South Africa team. You will research and qualify accounts, craft personalized outreach, and book discovery calls to feed the pipeline for Account Executives.

You will use tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn to manage your own pipeline, maintain data hygiene, and continuously refine messaging for high-quality engagements across the region.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
