Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa, with a focus on opening doors and driving pipeline. The role owns top-of-funnel activities, researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

The successful candidate will use LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to build and maintain a high-quality outreach program and pipeline, while working remotely within South Africa.

Qualifications

• Two years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
