Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision-makers and book meetings with qualified prospects, representing Blacksmith to potential clients with thoughtful, personalized outreach.

You will use tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches. This is a remote role with SA-based work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role or related.sales experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
