Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Join a remote, full-time role in a high-velocity environment where you’ll maintain Salesforce records, use SalesLoft and Sales Navigator, and continuously test and improve outreach before handing off

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
