Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book qualified discovery calls to fuel our Account Executives.

You will use tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo to craft personalized outreach, while maintaining pipeline hygiene in Salesforce. This is a remote, full-time role that rewards curiosity, grit and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
