Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone.

The role is full-time and remote within South Africa, with responsibilities including booking discovery calls and maintaining Salesforce/SalesLoft records. 2 years in SDR/BDR plus familiarity with outbound tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team
