Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching target accounts and booking meetings with decision makers to drive pipeline.

In this role you will use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to execute thoughtful outbound campaigns, while maintaining high-quality touchpoints with potential clients. This is a remote role for self-starters who can manage their own pipeline and hit volume goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
