Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and crafting personalized outreach to schedule discovery calls with our Account Executives.

The role requires 2 years in an SDR/BDR capacity, comfort with outbound tools, and strong written communication. This is a full-time remote role across South Africa, offering growth and high-quality outreach

Qualifications

2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
