Blacksmith Agency Llc is seeking a motivated Remote Sales Development Representative to generate qualified leads and build a robust pipeline for our SaaS solutions. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere in South Africa, with a Durban market focus.

You will engage with prospects, run discovery calls, and hand off qualified opportunities to the Account Executive team. The ideal candidate has SaaS experience, excellent communication skills, and a disciplined, self-motivated

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or customer service (SaaS experience is a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for prospect engagement.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities for remote work.
• Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers via cold calls, emails, and social selling.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand needs and objectives.
• Qualify leads and communicate value proposition to prospects.
• Schedule meetings and product demos for the Account Executive team.
• Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified leads and appointments.
• Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions in the CRM.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine lead-gen strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends affecting the Durban market.
• Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance.
