Placements24 is seeking a remote Sales Development Representative to generate leads and build the sales pipeline for a fast-growing SaaS company serving the Durban market and beyond.

You will engage with potential customers, conduct discovery calls, and qualify leads while working in a remote, distributed team. A proactive, self-disciplined mindset and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling software-as-a-service products or similar subscription-based offerings.
• Proven ability to generate and qualify leads and move them through the funnel.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calls and multi-channel outreach.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, pain points, and objectives.
• Qualify leads using established criteria and articulate value propositions.
• Schedule qualified meetings and product demos for the Account Executive team.
• Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified leads and scheduled appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine lead generation strategies.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape in Durban and beyond.
