Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Purchasing Coordinator to support our operations from Stellenbosch. You will manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders in a remote setup, ensuring smooth procurement processes.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management and at least 3 years in purchasing. Proficiency with Excel and purchasing software, strong organization, and excellent remote communication are

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement coordination.
• Proficiency in purchasing software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.
• Monitor order status, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and discrepancies.
• Maintain records of purchasing activities and supplier information.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
