Placements24 is seeking a diligent Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement operations remotely. You will process orders, track shipments, maintain records, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely acquisitions.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication, adept at multitasking in a self-directed, remote environment, and eager to learn procurement processes while contributing to supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Purchasing Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Track orders from placement through to delivery, ensuring adherence to specified timelines and terms.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any issues.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement files, including contracts, invoices, and receipts.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide status updates.
• Assist in researching potential suppliers and gathering quotes for various goods and services.
