Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an exceptionally talented Remote Performance Marketing Specialist to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth from anywhere in South Africa. You will plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and programmatic DSPs to hit KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, and LTV.

The role requires 4+ years in performance marketing, strong analytics, and a track record managing substantial budgets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in performance marketing with focus on paid acquisition channels.
• Experience managing large paid media budgets (e.g., R500k+ per month).
• Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and major ad platforms.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently remotely.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field.
• Desirable: interest in sports tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute paid media strategies across Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and programmatic DSPs.
• Manage and optimize campaign performance to achieve target KPIs (CPA, ROAS, LTV).
• Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and targeting to maximize efficiency.
• Perform A/B tests on ad copy, creatives, and landing pages for improvement.
• Monitor budgets daily to optimize spend and prevent over/under-delivery.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling assets and landing pages.
• Stay updated on trends in digital marketing and ad tech.
• Identify and test new channels to expand reach and acquisition.
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners as needed.
