Placements24 is seeking a remote Performance Marketing Manager to drive acquisition and revenue growth for a South Africa-based e-commerce client. You will lead data-driven campaigns across paid search, social, display, and affiliates, with autonomy to shape global expansion while working from anywhere in South Africa.

You will optimize budgets, run A/B tests, analyze performance, and collaborate with creative and analytics teams to maximize ROI in a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in performance marketing with paid acquisition focus.
• Proven ability to manage large digital ad budgets and meet ROI targets.
• Expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and major paid social platforms.
• Strong analytics experience with Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize cross-channel performance marketing campaigns.
• Manage multi-million rand budgets to achieve KPIs (CPA, ROAS, LTV).
• Analyze campaign data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Execute A/B tests to improve conversion and user experience.
• Collaborate with creative and analytics teams to craft ads and landing pages.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
• Oversee retargeting/remarketing strategies.
• Ensure proper tracking and attribution across platforms.
